Our Approach

We believe that every student who walks through the doors of Agape
Achievement Academy brings talent, perspective, drive, and inspiration. Therefore, we want to build the skills & and; confidence needed to pursue their highest aspirations.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Our social-emotional learning affects every aspect of our daily lives. Our children live in a critical time, and school is a vital part of their daily lives because they spend most of their day in a school environment for at least 7-7.5 hours. We know they need to feel safe and secure in their home environment. So we will implement a Social/Emotional Program in the regular school day that will allow every student can be successful & confident in their day at school. So what is Social Emotional Learning? Social Emotional Learning teaches students how to be more socially and emotionally aware. Social-emotional learning is critical for building healthy relationships, communicating effectively, and living a meaningful life.

Each day students will have the opportunity to engage in opportunities to help them with the following:
Self-Awareness: expressing emotions Self-Management:
manage emotions and stress.
Social Awareness: respecting others Relationship Skills:
resolving conflict/teamwork
Responsible Decision Making: problem-solving & critical thinking.

Each day students will begin their day with a 10-minute routine of
integrating these areas into their classes.
